Specialist audience invited to an exchange on the status quo in Europe with international speakers in the conference "MaaS - A European Perspective" on June 22, 2021.
The Transport and Spatial Planning Institute at the University of Applied Sciences Erfurt cordially invites interested professionals to participate in the conference "MaaS - A European Perspective" on June 22, 2021.
"Mobility as a Service (MaaS)" describes the integration of various forms of transport services into a single mobility service accessible on demand. The online-event organized by the Transport and Spatial Planning Institute as part of the research project “PriMaaS - Prioritizing low carbon mobility services for improving accessibility of citizens” is dedicated to creating an overview of the status quo of the various areas of the MaaS landscape - What is the EU's position on "Mobility as a Service"? What does the research think of the concept? What will be the impact of MaaS on travel behaviour and sustainable mobility? And is there the ideal operator model?
For the online conference first a general introduction to the topic and the PriMaaS project will be given and the European strategy for multimodal digital mobility services will be presented. A wide variety of research results will then be presented - from the challenges and opportunities of MaaS, to findings on how MaaS influences travel behavior, to findings from other MaaS projects in Europe. The conference will close with the presentation of various examples from the economy and a panel discussion in which the participants come to an exchange about the advantages and disadvantages of different operator models and solutions.
Interested professionals can register to participate in the conference via the link https://bit.ly/3wvNzPY.
The transnational project “PriMaaS” aims to integrate and promote new mobility services in traditional modes of transport. The Transport and Spatial Planning Institute at the University of Applied Sciences Erfurt accompanies the research project from a transport science perspective. The aim is to develop a regional action plan by the end of the project period in early 2022.
