Symposium "Entscheidungsprozesse in der Impfstoffentwicklung"

Manager und Wissenschaftler aus der Impfstoff-Forschung und -Entwicklung treffen sich am 20. April 2004 im Max-Planck-Institut für Infektionsbiologie in Berlin. Die Vakzine Projekt Management GmbH (VPM) hat die Fachleute zum Symposium "On Track! Decision Processes in Vaccine Development" eingeladen. Die Veranstaltung über "Entscheidungsprozesse in der Impfstoffentwicklung" soll dazu beitragen, hierzulande den Einsatz von Ressourcen und die Verwertung von guten Forschungsergebnissen in der Impfstoff-Entwicklung weiter zu verbessern.
Die Vakzine Projekt Management GmbH (www.vakzine-manager.de) in Braunschweig organisiert und finanziert bundesweit die präklinische und klinische Entwicklung von Impfstoffen sowie verwandten Produkten. Die VPM entstand aus einer Initiative des Bundesministeriums für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF), die zum Ziel hat, die Entwicklung neuer Impfstoffe zu beschleunigen und Deutschland als Forschungs- und Entwicklungsstandort von Impfstoffen zu stärken.
