Young scientists who have made industrially profound contributions to bioprocess engineering with their PhD thesis are invited to apply for the DECHEMA Industrial Bioprocess Award. The thesis should have been finished between July 2020 and December 2021. Deadline for the submission of applications is 15 February 2022.
The award that is offered for the fifth time comes with €5,000 prize money and is being sponsored by the industrial members of the DECHEMA working party “Bioprocess Engineering”. The successful candidate will be awarded with the prize at the “Himmelfahrtstagung 2022” and is invited to give a presentation there.
The DECHEMA working party “Bioprocess Engineering” focuses on the biotechnical production of fine and bulk chemicals as well as biopharmaceuticals by means of enzymes, prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells. The topics comprise the whole spectrum of modern biochemical engineering: from genes to products; from µL to production scale; from upstream to downstream
