Am kommenden Mittwoch (21. April 2004) lädt Prof. Dr. Matthias Schneider wieder zu einem "Kommentierten Orgelkonzert" in den Dom St. Nikolai ein. Im Zentrum seines Programms steht der norddeutsche Orgelkomponist Vincent Lübeck. Lübeck, der vor 350 Jahren geboren wurde und in Stade und Hamburg wirkte, galt zu seiner Zeit als außergewöhnlich virtuoser Organist.
Matthias Schneider wird seinen Kompositionen im Konzert Werke von Samuel Scheidt, Georg Muffat und Dietrich Buxtehude gegenüberstellen und kommentieren.
Das Konzert beginnt um 20.00 Uhr, der Eintritt ist frei.
