Stefan Zorn Stabsstelle Kommunikation
Medizinische Hochschule Hannover

From Monday, 28 February 2022, visits by relatives will be easier to arrange

Hannover Medical School (MHH) is lifting the general ban on visiting relatives of patients that has been in place since 1 December 2021. From Monday, 28 February 2022, the following visiting regulations will apply:

    • One visitor per patient on for one hour in the period from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. is possible.
    • Visits must be registered at the Service Points.
    • All visitors need a current test with an official certificate from a recognised testing centre. Unfortunately, no visit is possible at present without a negative test result!
    • There are no testing facilities at the MHH.
In the delivery room, in the paediatric clinic and for relatives of patients receiving palliative care or dying patients as well as patients with suspected imminent death, the previously existing exceptions continue to apply.

    Combination of search terms

You can combine search terms with and, or and/or not, e.g. Philo not logy.

    Brackets

You can use brackets to separate combinations from each other, e.g. (Philo not logy) or (Psycho and logy).

    Phrases

Coherent groups of words will be located as complete phrases if you put them into quotation marks, e.g. “Federal Republic of Germany”.

    Selection criteria

You can also use the advanced search without entering search terms. It will then follow the criteria you have selected (e.g. country or subject area).
