The German Centers for Health Research position themselves in a joint statement on the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
We, the German Centers for Health Research, consider the Russian invasion of Ukraine an attack on elementary values of freedom, democracy and self-determination, on which scientific freedom and opportunities for cooperation are based. We are deeply appalled by the recent attacks on civilians, hospitals and universities in Ukraine. We stand in solidarity with our Ukrainian colleagues and equally with our Russian colleagues who oppose this war.
Especially in the light of our mission to bring new medical research results into application more quickly, we would like to offer support to find job opportunities within our research areas. For more information, please monitor our web pages or contact our central offices directly.
Together we hope that this horrific war will soon come to an end.
