Direktor am Max-Planck-Institut für Biochemie erhält hochrangigen kanadischen Wissenschaftspreis
Für seine grundlegenden Beiträge zur Aufklärung von Schlüsselmechanismen der zellulären Proteinfaltung wird Prof. Ulrich Hartl, Direktor am Max-Planck-Institut für Biochemie in Martinsried, mit dem mit 30.000 Dollar (Can) dotierten Gairdner-Preis 2004 geehrt, einer international hoch angesehenen Auszeichnung in der Biomedizin, die alljährlich von der Gairdner Foundation, Kanada, vergeben wird.
