Why are leaves green and why do they change color throughout the year? Under the motto "Make color shine", Dock Nord is organizing Future Day 2022 at Jacobs University Bremen. On April 28, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., high school students in grades 7 to 9 will gain exciting insights into the world of science and the lives of students. The number of places is limited, registration is requested.

It will be anything but boring. In addition to two practical workshops led by students from Jacobs University, a campus tour awaits the participants. With its laboratories, student accommodations, classrooms and sports facilities, the sprawling campus is something very special. A short lecture will tell participants which subjects the university offers, for which professions they are relevant, and what the requirements are for studying at Jacobs University.

Also as part of the meerMINT initiative and among other activities, Jacobs University students provide insights into the fascinating world of mathematics, computer science, natural sciences, and technology for two hours every Tuesday afternoon. Together with the students, young people are welcome to tinker, program, research and discuss.
