The Covid pandemic has been challenging SMEs in Europe for 2 years. What conclusions can be drawn from dealing with the pandemic for future challenges such as digitalisation and sustainable business? Four European researchers present their research results in the podcast "SMEs in Europe after the pandemic and in view of the Green Deal".
At the European SME Assembly 2021 in Slovenia, Prof Dr Friederike Welter (IfM Bonn/University of Siegen, Germany), Prof Dr Ute Stephan (King's College/London, UK), Prof Dr Alfredo De Massis (Free University of Bolzano/Italy), and Prof Dr Arnis Sauka (Stockholm School of Economics, Riga/Latvia) discussed what the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic are and how small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) need to be supported on their way to a more sustainable economy.
The IfM Bonn produces podcasts and YouTube films at irregular intervals. These are available on popular platforms and the IfM website (www.ifm-bonn.org).
