Digitization of production? The laser makes it possible! The Laser Zentrum Hannover e.V. (LZH) will present smart laser-based solutions, for example for agriculture, at the Hannover Messe from May 30 to June 2. Also: services for companies from Lower Saxony with an interest in 3D printing.
Digital, interconnected, energy-efficient – smart production with lasers meets the requirements of tomorrow's production. This makes the LZH and its laser-based technical solutions a perfect fit for the key topics at this year's Hannover Messe: There, the focus this year is on digitization and sustainability. The LZH will be exhibiting at the joint stand of the state of Lower Saxony on the topic of digitization in hall 5, stand number D16.
Smart solutions for additive manufacturing and agriculture 4.0
The LZH develops innovative manufacturing methods and focuses on additive manufacturing potential. The vision: smart additive, the interconnected additive manufacturing with process monitoring in real-time. At the stand, the LZH will provide insights into the latest developments in smart additive manufacturing.
In the field of agriculture, the LZH is researching solutions for smart agricultural technology. One important topic here is weed management: The LZH's goal is to reduce the use of pesticides and to eliminate or damage weeds in an environmentally friendly and sustainable way using lasers. The LZH conducts research on the entire process chain from the detection of plants to their elimination. In addition, scientists are working with image capture and artificial intelligence to distinguish weeds from crops reliably. At the trade fair, the LZH will be demonstrating with an exhibit what agricultural technology could look like in the future.
Niedersachsen ADDITIV: The SME partner for 3D printing
At the Hannover Messe, the experts from Niedersachsen ADDITIV will present the services offered to companies from Lower Saxony and will be available for discussions with company representatives. Niedersachsen ADDITIV is the point of contact for small and medium-sized enterprises in Lower Saxony interested in 3D printing and is a joint project of the LZH and the Institute for Integrated Production Hannover (IPH).
Niedersachsen ADDITIV's services focus on research transfer: Practical and oriented to the respective needs, the project supports companies that want to integrate 3D printing into their production or develop it further - free of charge and independent of manufacturers.
LZH partner of the Technology & Business Cooperation Days
The LZH is a partner of the Technology & Business Cooperation Days of the Enterprise Europe Network (een), which take place as part of the Hannover Messe. Here, companies and research institutions can get in touch to exchange ideas and find partners for research and technology cooperation, for example. Interested parties can participate virtually via video conference as well as arrange personal meetings on the trade fairgrounds.
The deadline for registration is May 24, 2022. Registration is possible at https://technology-business-cooperation-days-2022.b2match.io/home.
