Aus Anlass des 200. Todestages von Immanuel Kant veranstaltet das Philosophische Institut der Universität Saarbrücken im Sommersemester 2004 eine Ringvorlesung mit namhaften Referenten aus dem In- und Ausland.

Im Mittelpungt der Veranstaltung steht die aktuelle Bedeutung Kants sowohl für die Gegenwartsphilosophie als auch für die Politik, für ethische Grundsatzdiskussionen, für das öffentliche Leben und die Kunst.
