SUBSTRATE - INTEGRATED MICRO ELECTRODE ARRAYS 2004
July 6-9 2004
Technology Parc Tübingen / Reutlingen, Germany

Microelectrode array (MEA) technology has become an important tool to investigate biological systems such as brain, spinal cord, heart muscle and isolated retina. This conference will provide a comprehensive overview of current MEA-applications in basic research as well as in drug discovery.

Researchers from academic institutions and industry are invited to meet and discuss new developments in the fields of:

Stimulation and recording of single cells and electrogenic tissues
Signal analysis and software
Recent technological advances

The meeting is scheduled to take place just prior to the 4th Forum of European Neuroscience which will be held in Lissabon, Portugal.

The meeting will start on Tuesday, July 06th 2004 with a one day MEA workshop, followed by 2.5 days of talks and poster presentations.
