Einladung an die Medien:
Die TU Darmstadt verleiht am Mittwoch, 2. Juni 2004, Prof. Dr. Nicolas D. Georganas auf Vorschlag des Fachbereichs Elektro- und Informationstechnik die Ehrendoktorwürde. Gewürdigt wird damit das beispiellose Lebenswerk von Prof. Dr. Georganas, der als einer der Urväter der Multimedia-Forschung und einer der weltweit führenden Forscher im Bereich Kommunikationssysteme gilt.
Zu dieser akademischen Feier möchten wir Sie ganz herzlich einladen. Über Ihre Teilnahme und Ihre Berichterstattung würden wir uns sehr freuen.
Akademische Feier: Mittwoch, 2. Juni 2004, im Karolinensaal des Staatsarchivs (Karolinenplatz 3, Darmstadt), Beginn 15.30 Uhr, Übergabe der Urkunde der Ehrendoktorwürde ab ca. 17.20 Uhr.
