In the current energy crisis, alternative energy sources and energy-efficient systems are becoming more and more important. Companies such as Trumpf, Coherent and Schott will present the role of lasers in energy technology and how companies can use them to create an energy-efficient future.
The LaserForum 2023 will take place under the title "Laser technologies - Tool for an energy-efficient future?" on March 14, 2023 at the Fraunhofer Institute for Laser Technology (ILT) in Aachen.
Visit of LaVa-X and the Fraunhofer ILT
During the event there will be the opportunity to visit the laser production at the Fraunhofer ILT. On March 13, 2023 participants can also take part in a guided tour at LaVa-X followed by a networking dinner at cost price. LaVa-X is a company specializing in laser and electron beam welding of metallic materials.

LaserForum: annual expert meeting point
Every year, the LaserForum deals comprehensively with selected questions, problems and trends in laser technology along the entire value chain. The forum provides a platform for discussion and exchange of ideas among experts. The event language is English.
The partners of the event are LASER.Region.AACHEN, the Laser Zentrum Hannover, the Fraunhofer Institute for Laser Technology and the Chair of Laser Application Technology at the Ruhr University Bochum (LAT) as well as Regionales Berufsbildungszentrum des Kreises Steinburg and the project Innovet bm=x³.
