PsychOpen GOLD – the Diamond Open Access publishing platform for psychology – calls for Proposals of Diamond Open Access Journals in Psychology. The application deadline is September 30, 2023.
PsychOpen GOLD – the Diamond Open Access publishing platform for psychology – has launched a new call for proposals for journals. We invite all editors interested in founding a new Diamond Open Access to apply until 30 September 2023. Alternatively, it is possible to transform an existing journal into the Diamond OA model. New journals should address socially relevant topics or break new ground in communicating psychological knowledge to the public.
PsychOpen GOLD, active since 2012, is a platform for Diamond Open Access journals in psychology. Administered by the Leibniz Institute for Psychology (ZPID), PsychOpen GOLD enables the free publication and reception of scientific research from 15 international journals, covering a wide spectrum of topics in psychology. PsychOpen GOLD stands above all for the adherence to high open science standards: in addition to the publication of scientific articles according to the Diamond Open Access model, we ensure the high-quality production and dissemination of articles, while the ownership of the journals remains with their respective editors and thus, the scientific community.
We invite all interested scholars and communities in psychology to apply with their journals for inclusion in PsychOpen GOLD. For more information on the application requirements and the application process, please visit https://psychopen.eu/call2023.
Please reach out to us if you have any questions about this call or how to apply at journal-proposal@psychopen.eu.
