TU9 German Universities of Technology

TU9, the Alliance of leading Technical Universities in Germany, will be present at the annual conference and Talent Fair of the German Academic International Network (GAIN) in Boston from August 25 to 27, 2023. In workshops, discussion panels, and at the Talent Fair, representatives will provide advice on funding opportunities and career paths at TU9 Universities.

TU9 University managers and experts from career support formats will be available in various formats to answer questions about returning to Germany, different career paths at and with universities, the possibilities of interdisciplinary research and cooperation, and the importance of good management and leadership.

The TU9 Alliance is offering its own workshop on the topic of "Innovation & Transfer - Careers between Science, Business and Start-ups". Professor Angela Ittel, TU9 President and President of TU Braunschweig, Professor Ursula Staudinger, President of TU Dresden, and KIT alumnus Dr. Christian Reimer, Co-Founder and Head of Product of HyperLight, will be available to answer all questions about career paths and opportunities between science and business. They will present creative career opportunities and show new paths that are open to returnees in addition to the established career paths in science.

An overview of the events in which TU9 representatives are participating can be found here: https://www.tu9.de/en/activities/tu9-at-gain23/. The entire GAIN23 program is available here: https://www.gain-network.org/en/annual-gain-conference/gain23-conference-program...
