Eugene Rogan ist Professor für moderne Geschichte des Nahen Ostens an der Universität Oxford und Direktor des Middle East Centre am St. Antony's College.
Er ist Autor von:
- Die Araber - Eine Geschichte von Unterdrückung und Aufbruch. 2012;
- mit Avi Shlaim (Hrsg.): The War for Palestine: Rewriting the History of 1948. 2007;
- Der Untergang des Osmanischen Reichs. Der Erste Weltkrieg im Nahen Osten 1914-1920. 2021.
Sein neues Buch, The Damascus Events, wird 2024 bei Penguin erscheinen.
