Another top position in the global MBA ranking for ISM
Only a handful of German business schools were honoured
Dortmund/Munich/Berlin, 27.03.2024 - The International School of Management (ISM) has once again achieved a top position in this year's global MBA university rankings. The Master of Business Administration programme at the ISM locations in Dortmund, Munich and, most recently, Berlin continues to compare favourably with international providers in the top ranks.
Potential MBA students opt for this because it enables them to position themselves significantly better in terms of expertise and professional networks. Germany is currently experiencing a shortage of skilled labour. At the same time, however, there have also been massive job cuts in large corporations in recent months. This casts a different light on additional qualifications. According to ISM business professor Dr Silke Finken, an MBA degree is also an added value, as it can significantly improve the path to outstanding professional positions, provided that you have the necessary professional qualifications.
In this year's MBA ranking, CEO Magazine lists ISM in the top group of global MBA providers for the second time. The private business school is recognised above all for having excellent teaching staff with many years of professional experience in management positions. The ranking also praises the international composition of the study groups at the private business school.
ISM's MBA programme has been running for around ten years, initially as a part-time programme at the Dortmund campus and for some years now also as a full-time programme at the Munich campus. A full-time MBA programme has now also been added at the Berlin campus.
An extended MBA Plus programme allows students to expand their skills according to their preferences, e.g. in specialist areas such as sustainable management, data analysis for international business sectors and digital marketing management.
Unique to ISM are the integrated MBA modules abroad, with stages in the USA, India and South Korea (in the part-time MBA programme) and Spain (in the full-time MBA programme).
MBA students at ISM also receive coaching during their studies. "It helps to define professional goals and develop additional qualifications for positions in globally active companies," emphasises ISM President Prof. Dr Ingo Böckenholt.
