Die Fachgruppe Bioinformatik (FaBI) vergibt auch dieses Jahr wieder den FaBI - Dissertationspreis für herausragende Dissertationen im Bereich Bioinformatik. Neben einem Preisgeld von 1000,-€ erhält der/die Preisträger/in eine Einladung zur German Conference on Bioinformatics 2024 in Bielefeld. Die Preisverleihung schließt auch die Gelegenheit ein, die Forschungsarbeit in einem Vortrag zu präsentieren.
Das Disputationsdatum sollte im Zeitraum 1. März 2023 – 30. Mai 2024 liegen. Vorschlagsberechtigt sind die Betreuenden der Dissertation, wenn sie das Promotionsrecht haben und eine Arbeitsgruppe im deutschsprachigen Raum leiten. Sie können jeweils nur eine/n Kandidaten/in vorschlagen. Über die Vergabe des Preises entscheidet der Vorstand der FaBI.
Vorschläge können bis zum 31. Mai 2024 eingereicht werden. Weitere Informationen finden Sie in der Ausschreibung.
