Professional biographies and career paths are becoming increasingly individualised and the demand for customised further education opportunities is growing. Leuphana University of Lüneburg is breaking new ground in academic continuing education with its modular "Professional School Individuale" programme: Interested parties can put together their own continuing education programme from a wide selection of study modules from the various part-time Professional School courses.
The spectrum of modules on offer ranges from management topics, engineering and natural sciences, IT & digitalisation, health & social affairs, sustainability & energy to law, culture or soft skills. You can either book individual modules or combine several modules to create an individual certificate programme. Students who complete examinations can receive a certificate or have the credit points earned credited when enrolling on a degree programme.
All modules are taken from the Professional School's part-time, externally accredited and internationally recognised degree programmes. This ensures that participants receive a continuing education programme at university level.
The full range of modules can be found at http://www.berufsbegleitende-weiterbildung.org. Coordinator Dr Kathrin Becher (kathrin.becher@leuphana.de, phone 04131.677-1193) will be happy to answer any questions about the programme.
