The talented graphic design graduate Fie Bystrup has received significant recognition for her final project "The Wolf and Me," which has been nominated for the German Design Award 2024 in the "Newcomer Award" category.

Fie Bystrup's autobiographical medical comic "The Wolf and Me" delves deeply into her personal experiences with the chronic, invisible illness Lupus (SLE). Both informative and emotionally impactful, the comic aims to raise awareness about living with Lupus and reduce the loneliness and alienation that many sufferers experience. Through its exceptional design and profound content, Fie Bystrup has created a powerful platform to shed light on a commonly misunderstood topic.

Fie Bystrup successfully completed her Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design and Visual Communication in 2023. Her nomination for the German Design Award is a significant recognition of her artistic and creative abilities, highlighting the potential she brings to the design industry.

The German Design Award is one of the most prestigious honors in the design landscape, celebrating innovative and outstanding achievements in the field of design. The nomination for the Newcomer Award is a special acknowledgment that supports and recognizes emerging talent.

Fie Bystrup hopes that her work will not only resonate with the jury but also reach a broader audience, fostering greater awareness of chronic illnesses like Lupus.
