Fraunhofer IDMT will showcase its Content Verification Toolbox — a sophisticated suite of tools designed to support and enhance media content verification at IBC 2024. These tools provide robust, explainable, AI-driven solutions for media professionals investigating both audio and audio-visual content.
The Content Verification Toolbox addresses the critical challenges in today’s media landscape, such as misinformation, deepfakes, and shallowfakes. Fraunhofer IDMT’s comprehensive suite offers explainable tools for detecting synthesis and manipulations, tracing content provenance, and verifying media authenticity.
Key features include:
- Audio synthesis and manipulation detection to uncover audio fabrications and edits
- Audio provenance analysis to track content transformations and reuse
- Content authentication to sign and verify media content
“These tools represent years of focused research, developed to meet the increasing demand for explainable verification solutions,” says Patrick Aichroth, Head of Media Distribution and Security at Fraunhofer IDMT. “In today’s complex digital environment, our technologies provide a critical element for media organizations striving to maintain trust and accountability.”
