In view of an aging society, a growing number of chronically ill people and increasing stress in the world of work, health issues remain in focus even after the corona pandemic. With the part-time Master of Public Health in Prevention and Health Promotion, Leuphana University Lüneburg is targeting specialists and managers in the healthcare sector who want to qualify for jobs in occupational health management, health research, health promotion or in the field of digital health. The next cohort starts in April 2025; applications are open now until January 31.
The part-time on-site program imparts extensive knowledge in the areas of prevention, health promotion and health management. Students can specialize in one of two areas: work and organization or digital health. The program lasts four semesters and concludes with the internationally recognized title Master of Public Health. It is aimed at applicants who have already completed a first academic degree. The seminars take place over one to a maximum of two weekends per month. A family-friendly summer break is planned, as are consideration of holidays.
Prospective students have the opportunity to get to know the Master's program better during the Professional School's online information day on January 11, 2025, or to arrange a personal consultation with program coordinator Karen Ahrlich (pug@leuphana.de, phone 04131.677-7958).
