At the beginning of May 2025, the first AM conference of the IAMHH e.V. association for researchers and representatives of producing companies interested in additive manufacturing will take place in Hamburg. On the evening before, IAMHH e.V. organizes the "AM Pitch Night." This new format connects innovators and investors in the field of additive production.
Hamburg/Germany, March 25, 2025 - The new association IAMHH e.V. (Industrialized Additive Manufacturing Hub Hamburg) coordinates collaborative projects for pre-competitive development stages of new technologies in the Hamburg metropolitan region. With semi-annual conferences on additive manufacturing (AM), the association aims to provide insights into the state of the technology and its industrial application. At the same time, fostering networks serves as a starting point for new collaborative projects. As an additional driver for 3D printing in Hamburg, IAMHH e.V. is launching an AM Pitch Night.
Lecture and Framework Program
The agenda of the AM conference by IAMHH e.V. on May 6-7, 2025, in Hamburg includes talks by renowned speakers from research and industry. The presenters come from research institutions and companies that are already successfully using AM in production.
The conference program is divided into three focus sessions:
• AM in Polymers, Materials, Processes and Applications
• AM in Mobility: New Insights from Automotive to Space
• AM and Automation: Scaling, Efficiency and Smart Production
On the first day of the event, participants will have the opportunity to visit the production site of Zellerfeld. The company is a pioneer in additive production of customized shoes based on individual scans.
The framework program offers numerous opportunities for exchange with the speakers and other participants. A special highlight is the networking dinner on the evening of the first day of the conference.
AM Pitch Night - Now open for Applications
The AM Pitch Night primarily targets the startup scene. The event provides a platform for exceptional applications, innovations, and new concepts in additive production on the eve of the AM conference. Start-ups, pioneers, and innovative users can present their projects in 10-minute pitches. The IAMHH e.V. association will award prizes for the three most promising projects. Investors and other interested parties can discover innovations and initiate investments at the AM Pitch Night.
To reach a broad audience, attendance and participation in the AM Pitch Night are free of charge. Registrations and applications for presentations at the AM Pitch Night are now possible on the event's registration page.
Registration, Deadlines, and Participation Conditions
The event organized by IAMHH e.V. is open to interested parties from all over Europe. Participation in the conference is free for members of the IAMHH e.V. association. For guests, the conference participation fee is 99 euros.
