Cyberagentur presents innovative security research at NAT'25 in Berlin
Cyberagentur showcases the future of human-machine interaction at NAT'25 - Neuroadaptive Technology Conference
The Agentur für Innovation in der Cybersicherheit GmbH (Cyberagentur) is actively participating in the international Neuroadaptive Technology Conference (NAT'25) from 7 to 10 April 2025 in Berlin with its own session and keynote speech. The focus will be on the "Human-Machine Interaction" project in the field of brain-computer interfaces.
The NAT'25 - Neuroadaptive Technology Conference, organised by the non-profit Society for Neuroadaptive Technology e.V., is a leading European platform for science and practice relating to neuroadaptive technologies, artificial intelligence and human-machine interaction. From 7 to 10 April 2025, experts from the fields of cognitive research, computer science, neurotechnology and AI will meet at the ABION Spreebogen Hotel in Berlin.
The Cyberagentur will be making two contributions to the NAT'25 programme. On Wednesday, 9 April, Research Director Prof. Dr Christian Hummert will present the Agency's tasks and current research programmes in a session. The strategically important topic of brain-computer interfaces (BCI) will take centre stage. The Cyberagentur is financing the Cottbus-based company Zander Labs' cutting-edge research into human-machine interaction (HMI). Aim is to develop innovative interfaces that link thoughts and machines more efficiently and open up new fields of application in the area of cyber security and beyond.
Prof Dr Christian Hummert will provide a content highlight with his keynote speech "From resilience to vigilance. Is it wise to give machines responsibility?" The focus will be on the shift from traditional defence strategies to predictive, adaptive cyber security in a neuro-adaptive digital environment.
NAT'25 will also feature further presentations by internationally renowned researchers such as Dr Joscha Bach, Prof Dr Moritz Grosse-Wentrup and Prof Willem Zuidema, who will discuss current developments at the interface of AI, neurotechnology and cognitive science. A particular focus of the conference is the founding of the European brAIn network, which aims to connect researchers, companies and public institutions in the field of neuroadaptive artificial intelligence in the long term.

Background: Cyberagentur
The Agentur für Innovation in der Cybersicherheit GmbH (Cyberagentur) was founded by the German Federal Government in 2020 as a fully in-house company of the Federal Government under the joint leadership of the German Federal Ministry of Defence and the German Federal Ministry of the Interior and Community with the aim of adopting a cross-departmental view of internal and external security in the field of cybersecurity with a focus on application strategy. Against this backdrop, the work of the Cyberagentur is largely aimed at the institutionalised implementation of highly innovative projects that are associated with a high risk in terms of achieving the objectives, but at the same time can have a very high potential for disruption if successful.
The Cyberagentur is part of the National Security Strategy of the Federal Republic of Germany.
The Cyberagentur is headed by Prof Dr Christian Hummert as Scientific Director and Managing Director and Daniel Mayer as Commercial Director.

You can combine search terms with and, or and/or not, e.g. Philo not logy.
You can use brackets to separate combinations from each other, e.g. (Philo not logy) or (Psycho and logy).
Coherent groups of words will be located as complete phrases if you put them into quotation marks, e.g. “Federal Republic of Germany”.
You can also use the advanced search without entering search terms. It will then follow the criteria you have selected (e.g. country or subject area).
If you have not selected any criteria in a given category, the entire category will be searched (e.g. all subject areas or all countries).
