Winners announced: ELSA’s second Industry Call strengthens connection between AI research and industry

    ELSA – European Lighthouse on Secure and Safe AI, has finished its second Industry Call. During its call, ELSA looked for applications from SMEs and startups in all business stages and various kinds of research areas. Seven winners have now been selected. They will receive 60.000 € funding and will be supported by ELSA experts over six months.

    ELSA has been calling for start-ups and SMEs in the areas of Cybersecurity, Robotic Systems, Big Data, Cyber Security Compliance, Robotics Software, Analytics Software, EdTech, FinTech, Logistics Tech, AI Translation, Artificial General Intelligence (AGI), AI Research & Development, AI Chatbots, AI Deployment, Artificial Consciousness and AI Infrastructure.

    An independent professional jury selected the seven winning companies. They will receive 60.000 € funding (lump sum), and will be working together with top AI experts within the ELSA Network of Excellence for six months.

    Besides the support for promising applicants, ELSA’s Europe-wide Industry Call strengthens the connection, knowledge exchange, and collaboration between excellent AI and cybersecurity researchers and industry-oriented companies.

    The winners come from various fields of industry and from all over Europe. They are Kiin AI (health industry, from the UK), LightMirror (construction industry, from Lithuania), ReqCon (construction industry, from Belgium), Starlab Neuroscience (health industry, from Spain), Trace Labs (health industry, from Slovenia), VERTLINER (field robotics, from Greece), and Vivid Mind Health (health industry, from Poland).
