Following the strong interest in our April 2025 webinar on the Social Aspects of Online Teaching, FIBAA is pleased to announce the next event in our digital education series. The upcoming webinar, titled "The Art and Science of Digital Learning: Proven Approaches for Ensuring Social Learning", will be held on July 16, 2025, and will feature renowned expert Professor Gilly Salmon.
This interactive session will explore what makes digital learning not only effective, motivating, and sustainable—but most importantly, social. Professor Salmon will share her internationally recognised models such as the Five Stage Model and E-tivities, which offer practical frameworks to energise online learning, build a sense of belonging, and foster cooperation and collaboration in digital environments.
With a distinguished career in learning innovation across global institutions and as author of the influential book E-moderating, Professor Salmon continues to shape the future of online and blended education. Learn more about her work at www.gillysalmon.com and www.educationalchemists.com.
The webinar is part of FIBAA’s ongoing commitment to advancing quality in digital education. As the owner of the “Excellence in Digital Education”® quality seal, FIBAA evaluates not only the didactic and technological elements of online teaching, but also the social dynamics that drive learner engagement.
