Am Samstag, den 08. November 2025 veranstaltet die Popakademie Baden-Württemberg in Kooperation mit dem Kulturamt der Stadt Mannheim und dem europäischen Schlagzeug- und Perkussionsverband „Percussion Creativ“ das elfte World Drum Festival. Kuratiert wird das World Drum Festival von Anika Nilles.
„Ich freue mich sehr, erneut die künstlerische Leitung des World Drum Festivals zu übernehmen! Freut euch auf ein Festival voller Kontraste – von traditionellen Rhythmen bis zu modernen Klangwelten. Die Popakademie wird zur Bühne der Vielfalt – seid dabei!“, so Anika Nilles, Künstlerische/fachliche Beratung & Projektbetreuung Drums an der Popakademie Baden-Württemberg.
