Das Motivationspapier „Transformatives Community-Learning“ beginnt mit den Fragen: In welcher Stadtgesellschaft leben wir? In welcher Stadtgesellschaft wollen wir leben? Es geht um ein erfahrungsbasiertes Lernen von und mit anderen, durch das Menschen empowert werden, gemeinsam füreinander zu handeln.
Das Forschungsinstitut für Philosophie Hannover (fiph) hat ein Motivationspapier zum Thema „Transformatives Community-Learning“ verfasst. Erklärtes Ziel des Motivationspapiers ist es, Impulse für eine demokratische und aktive Stadtgesellschaft zu setzen. Transformatives Community-Learning verknüpft Elemente des Service-Learnings mit solchen des Community-Organizings. Als Grenzfall des Transformativen Community-Learnings in der Stadtgesellschaft thematisiert das Papier Obdachlosigkeit und möchte zur Abschaffung der Obdachlosigkeit beitragen.
