‘With the Hamburg MBA, students are not only investing in education but also positioning themselves to succeed in today's global business world,’ says Prof. Dr. Tim Goydke, President of the Hamburg School of Business Administration, about the new MBA.
‘Whether it's advancing in their current field or moving into a new industry, our programme provides the tools, network and opportunities young professionals need to succeed.’
Students come from various countries such as Colombia, Japan, Canada and Iraq and represent numerous industries, including financial services, automotive, architecture and construction, food, chemicals, cosmetics, law, IT and management consulting.
Global Talents Scholarship
In order to support particularly talented and motivated applicants from abroad and enable them to pursue an academic career, HSBA is awarding four participants with the Global Talents Scholarship. The scholarship recipients were welcomed and congratulated by programme director Prof. Dr. Katja Starken during the introductory event:
“We are delighted to have been able to provide Lina María Rojas Trillos (Colombia), Awaz Saeed Kichan Faedi (Iraq), Mursal Rassa (Afghanistan) and Guillermo Martinez Cortes (Mexico) to join us at HSBA. All four are Global Talents who have qualified for our scholarship thanks to their outstanding CVs in both professional and academic fields."
The Hamburg MBA – practical, networked, international
What makes the MBA at HSBA Hamburg School of Business Administration so special is that global talents from all over the world can qualify for the Hamburg and global job market in just one year (full-time) or two years (part-time) through an intensive and practical course of study. The focus is not on short-term success, but on long-term and sustainable strategies that have a long tradition in the Hanseatic city.
Students acquire MBA-specific knowledge such as strategy and leadership, developing not only entrepreneurial skills and leadership competencies, but also a global mindset and a set of values that prepare them to work sustainably and successfully around the world.
From the outset, students establish close contacts with Hamburg's business community. In lectures, workshops and case studies, they work together with experienced executives from the Hanseatic city. In addition to professors with international backgrounds, renowned guest speakers provide insights into current issues in everyday business life. In this way, the Hamburg MBA combines academic excellence with the practical experience of one of Europe's most dynamic economic regions – making its graduates sought-after global talents.
