The curriculum update, led by Professor Gregory Wheeler, Academic Director of the MADS programme, responds to the demands of today's rapidly evolving artificial intelligence landscape and the latest technological developments. The redesigned curriculum equips students with skills for leadership roles in AI-driven industries.

"The curriculum refresh repositions the Master of Artificial Intelligence & Data Science programme to ensure our graduates possess both the theoretical foundations and practical expertise required for today's AI-accelerated data science ecosystem," explains Melanie Büche, MADS Programme Manager.

Professor Ansgar Richter, Dean of Faculty and Professor of Corporate Strategy, Organisation and Governance at Frankfurt School, emphasises the programme's strategic importance: "AI is transforming every industry – and our updated Master of Artificial Intelligence & Data Science puts students at the forefront of this change. The programme's sharpened focus on technologies like Generative AI and Agentic Systems not only reflects the latest technological developments but also connects with our wider strategic initiatives, such as our collaboration with OpenAI. With access to electives from across our Master's portfolio, graduates will be uniquely positioned to lead at the intersection of tech, finance, and business."
