The internationally recognized event format DisruptHR is coming to Hamburg for the first time – following recent stops in Zurich and New York. On January 30, Kühne Logistics University (KLU) invites members of the business community and the general public to a compact morning focused on HR, leadership, and the future of work. Attendance is free of charge and open to both HR professionals and interested members of the public. Breakfast will be provided.
DisruptHR is often described as the “TEDx of the HR world”: short, punchy talks, clear theses, no buzzwords. In five-minute talks, speakers from industry, consulting, and academia share practical insights into today’s most pressing HR questions – from modern leadership in the age of AI and decision-making under uncertainty to unconventional career paths. Alongside KLU faculty, leaders from the consulting firms Netlight and INVERTO GmbH, as well as Castrol, will take the stage. The program concludes with short workshops where participants can explore selected topics in greater depth.
“Anyone who comes to KLU that morning will gain a great deal of relevant input in a very short time – engaging, accessible, and directly connected to practice,” says Prof. Dr. Brooke A. Gazdag, Associate Professor of Management and Academic Director of Executive Education. “That’s exactly what has made DisruptHR so successful around the world.”
Compact HR Insights – Open to Everyone
The event is intentionally not limited to HR experts. Leaders, students, founders, and anyone interested in the world of work tomorrow are warmly invited. The goal is to make current HR topics understandable, thought-provoking, and tangible – beyond the confines of traditional conferences.
Speakers on stage are, among others:
- Prof. Dr. Brooke A. Gazdag (KLU): AI’s Threat to Uniqueness and Belonging at Work
- Prof. Dr. Prisca Brosi (KLU): Emotion Management for Continuous Change
- Jörn Fleger (Netlight): The Importance of Side Quests in One’s Career
- Prof. Dr. Kai Hoberg (KLU): Supply Chain? What Everyone Needs to Know!
- Ruchi Kaushal (Castrol): Ambition, Rewritten: Why Leadership Still Runs on an Outdated Playbook
- Anna-Maria Kollenbrandt (INVERTO GmbH): Decision Speed Is the New Productivity
- Prof. Dr. Niels Van Quaquebeke (KLU): The Renaissance of Management in the Age of AI
