Dr. Manuel Häußler joined the Leibniz Institute of Polymer Research Dresden (IPF), where he leads the new research group “Circular Chemical Concepts of Polymers.” He previously headed a research group at the Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces (MPI-KG) and the Center for the Transformation of Chemistry (CTC).
At the IPF, Häußler and his team are working to develop a new generation of plastics based on locally available raw materials that are fully recyclable and environmentally benign. Using a data-driven approach, the group focuses on bio-based circular building blocks for plastics and beyond, as well as on recycling-on-demand concepts.
His expertise complements the IPF’s existing research on resource-efficient and functional polymer systems. At the same time, his work contributes to the shared goal of the IPF and the CTC: supporting the industry in its transformation toward a circular economy.

English

You can combine search terms with and, or and/or not, e.g. Philo not logy.
You can use brackets to separate combinations from each other, e.g. (Philo not logy) or (Psycho and logy).
Coherent groups of words will be located as complete phrases if you put them into quotation marks, e.g. “Federal Republic of Germany”.
You can also use the advanced search without entering search terms. It will then follow the criteria you have selected (e.g. country or subject area).
If you have not selected any criteria in a given category, the entire category will be searched (e.g. all subject areas or all countries).
