Kaum ein Tag vergeht, an dem nicht neue Lösungsvorschläge für das deutsche Wirtschafts- und Sozialsystem gemacht werden, die entweder eine Reform oder den Abbau des Sozialstaates vorsehen. Der Frage "Ist der Sozialstaat noch zu retten?" geht am Dienstag, 30. November, Anton F. Börner (Präsident des Bundesverbandes des deutschen Groß- und Außenhandels) in einem Vortrag an der KU nach.
Professor Bernd Halfar (KU-Professur für Sozialmanagement) spricht außerdem zum Thema "Ist der Sozialstaat irrational gesteuert?". Die Veranstaltung beginnt um 18.15 Uhr im Raum 201 (Kollegiengebäude I, Bau A, Ostenstraße 26) und wird organisiert von der Fakultät für Soziale Arbeit und dem Absolventenkreis der Fakultät.
