Am Dienstag, dem 18. Januar 2005, hält um 18.00 Uhr Professor Dr. David Bindman vom University College London im Hörsaal 12 des Historischen Instituts (Domstraße 9 a) einen Vortrag über "Carving the Spirit: North and South in the Sculpture of Thorvaldsen and Canova". Prof. Bindman, sagt Gastgeber Prof. Dr. Michael North, "ist einer der bedeutendsten englischen Kunsthistoriker, der u. a. Schinkels 'Englische Reise' herausgegeben hat."
