Vor vierhundert Jahren erschien 1605 die erste Zeitung der Welt. Daran erinnert die Ausstellung "Das Neueste von gestern - 400 Jahre Zeitungspresse in Bremen und Nordwestdeutschland", die am 31. Mai im Haus der Bürgerschaft in Bremen eröffnet wird. Den Blick auf 400 Jahre Bremer Presse ermöglicht das Institut für Deutsche Presseforschung an der Universität Bremen in Kooperation mit der Gesellschaft für Deutsche Presseforschung zu Bremen e.V. und der Staats- und Universitätsbibliothek Bremen. Die Ausstellung zusammengetragen haben Dr. Astrid Blome und Professor Holger Böning unter Mitarbeit von Studierenden der Universität Bremen. Sie läuft bis zum 23.
