Aquilonia in Potsdam
Internationale Tagung von Altphilologen
Die Abschiedslieder der antiken Dichterin Sappho, die Ideen Platons und Werke anderer antiker Denker sowie ihr Einfluß auf die Literatur und Philosophie des 20. Jahrhunderts stehen auf dem Programm der Tagung "Aquilonia". Nach dem Nord-Ost-Wind "Aquilo" benannt, wurde die Tagung vor vier Jahren als Nachbarschaftstreffen von Nachwuchswissenschaftlern aus ostdeutschen Instituten ins Leben gerufen. In diesem Jahr sind erstmals auch zahlreiche Wissenschaftler aus Polen dabei.
Die Tagung beginnt am Freitag, den 18. Juni 1999 um 14.00 Uhr und endet am Samstagmittag, dem 19.6.99 mit einem Vortrag zur Platon-Deutung im Dritten Reich (Beginn: 11.30 Uhr). Tagungsort ist das Institut für Klassische Philologie, Haus 14, Karl-Liebknecht-Str.24/25, 14476 Golm.
