Zwei Vorträge von Fulbright-Gastprofessoren in der Kleinen Synagoge am 20. und 27. Juni 2005
Im Rahmen der "Erfurter Beiträge zur Nordamerikanischen Geschichte" wird am Montag, dem 20. Juni 2005 um 19.30 Uhr Prof. Dr. Kriste Lindemeyer, zur Zeit Fulbright-Professorin an der Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg, über "Childhood, Youth, and Family in American History" sprechen. Der Vortrag wird veranstaltet vom Lehrstuhl für Nordamerikanische Geschichte der Universität Erfurt und findet in der Begegnungsstätte Kleine Synagoge in Erfurt statt.
Am Montag, dem 27. Juni 2005 um 19.30 Uhr findet eine zweite Vortragsveranstaltung im Rahmen der "Erfurter Beiträge zur Nordamerikanischen Geschichte" statt. Professor Richard F. Hamm hält in der Begegnungsstätte Kleine Synagoge in Erfurt seinen Vortrag zum Thema "The Prosecutor and the Show Girl: Gender Roles in the 1907 Harry Thaw Trial". Hamm weilt derzeit als Fulbright-Gastprofessor an der Universität Erfurt. Zu beiden Veranstaltungen wird herzlich eingeladen. Der Eintritt ist frei.
