TU Dresden und Hochschule für Bildende Künste bieten gemeinsame Ausstellung an
Im Rahmen der Internationalen Semiotikkongresse an der Technischen Universität Dresden (TUD) findet vom 3. bis 11. Oktober 1999 im Foyer des Hörsaalzentrums, Bergstraße 64, die Computergrafik-Ausstellung "Signa in silico" statt. Zu dieser Ausstellung findet ein Workshop statt, in dem sich auch Studenten der Hochschule für Bildende Künste beteiligen.
Die Prototypen der vorgestellten Schwarz-Weiß-Grafiken waren ursprünglich Nebenprodukte bei der Konstruktion und Testung numerischer Algorithmen. Die vorliegende Collection zeigt, dass dabei ästhetisch interessante zeichenhafte Gebilde entstehen können, die der Phantasie einen weiten Interpretationsraum bieten.
