Universitätsprofessor Dr. Stefan Liebig, Inhaber einer W 2-Professur für Soziologie, Schwerpunkt Methodenlehre: Empirische Sozialforschung im Fachbereich IV der Universität Trier, hat vom Sächsischen Ministerium für Wissenschaft und Kultur einen Ruf auf die W 2-Professur für Soziologie an der Universität Leipzig erhalten. Er hat den Ruf abgelehnt.
Prof. Dr. Stefan Liebig hat ebenfalls einen Ruf auf die W 3-Professur "Soziologie mit dem Schwerpunkt Empirische Sozialstrukturanalyse" an der Universität Duisburg-Essen vom Gründungsrektor der Universität Duisburg-Essen erhalten. Er hat den Ruf angenommen.
