Ein Forscherteam am Institut für Industriebetriebslehre und Organisation der Universität Hamburg (http://www.ibl-unihh.de) hat ein neues Release der Software SmartPLS (http://www.smartpls.de) für die grafische Modellierung und PLS-basierte Berechnung von Pfadmodellen entwickelt.
Als weltweit einzige Softwareapplikation bietet SmartPLS neben Kapazitäten zur PLS Pfadmodellierung die Integration des Finit Mixture Partial Least Squares (FIMIX-PLS)-Ansatzes an, der besonders wichtig ist, um unbeobachtete Heterogenität im inneren Pfadmodell zu identifizieren.
Diese Analysemethode erfreut sich besonderer Beliebtheit in empirisch ausgerichteten Forschungsarbeiten der Fachrichtung Betriebswirtschaftslehre, vor allem in den Bereichen Strategisches Management, Organisation, Marketing und Wirtschaftsinformatik. Die SmartPLS Softwareapplikation wird kostenlos in der neuen Version 2.0 (M3) unter http://www.smartpls.de zur Verfügung gestellt.
