Um "WTO und Umweltschutz" geht es am 29. und 30. November 2006 bei einem Workshop in der Forschungsstelle für Europäisches Umweltrecht im Fachbereich Rechtswissenschaft der Universität Bremen. Im Mittelpunkt steht dabei die Frage nach Gerechtigkeit im nationalen und internationalen Kontext. Gefahren für Freiheit und Sicherheit drohen zunehmend über Grenzen hinweg - etwa durch Globalisierung, Terrorismus oder Klimawandel. Gibt es eine universale kulturübergreifende Gerechtig-keit? Die interdisziplinäre Tagung sucht nach Normen und Weltgeltung und fragt, wie sich diese insti-tutionell umsetzen ließen. Beteiligt sind Juristen, Philosophen, Moraltheologen und Ökonomen.
