Bundesforschungsministerium honoriert die Arbeit von Dmitry Shchukin mit rund einer Million Euro
Dmitry Shchukin vom Max-Planck-Institut für Kolloid- und Grenzflächenforschung in Potsdam hat den Forschungspreis Nanotechnologie - NanoFutur 2006 erhalten. Der Wissenschaftler erhält das Preisgeld von etwa einer Million Euro über einen Zeitraum von vier Jahren, um damit eine neue Generation selbstheilender Antikorrosionsbeschichtungen zu erforschen. Das Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung hat die Auszeichnung für junge Wissenschaftler unter dem Rahmenkonzept "Nanotechnologie erobert Märkte" und als Teil des Programms "Werkstoffinnovationen für Industrie und Gesellschaft - WING" am Montag in Berlin verliehen.
