Professor Saiful Amin aus Bangladesch erhielt von der Alexander von Humboldt Stiftung das begehrte Georg-Forster Forschungsstipendium und wird im Zeitraum 01. Februar bis 31. Juli 2007 als Gastprofessor am Institut für Mechanik von Professor Alexander Lion an der Fakultät für Luft- und Raumfahrttechnik die Forschung unterstützen.
Der international renommierte Wissenschaftler beschäftigt sich am Department of Civil Engineering der Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology in Dhaka/Bangladesh mit den Forschungsbereichen Kontinuumsmechanik, Materialtheorie und Simulation von Elastomerwerkstoffen und -strukturen.
