Der Stand der Fusion von GMD - Forschungszentrum Informationstechnik GmbH und der Fraunhofer Gesellschaft e.V. ist Thema eines
Pressegesprächs am Donnerstag, dem 13. April,
um 11 Uhr auf Schloss Birlinghoven.
Zudem informiert Sie der Vorstandsvorsitzende der GMD, Prof. Dr. Dennis Tsichritzis über den Beitrag des Forschungszentrums, die Informations- und Kommunikationstechnik in eine europäische Spitzenposition zu bringen.
Geschwindigkeit und Flexibilität sind die Erfolgsfaktoren der neuen Wirtschaft. Informationstechnik und Telekommunikation sind die Motoren von Wachstum und Firmengründungen. In der Informationstechnik ist die Innovationsgeschwindigkeit rasant und nimmt weiter zu. Das neue Tempo setzt die Forschung in Deutschland unter einen enormen Innovationsdruck. Nur wer die Prinzipien der Neuen Wirtschaft erkennt und nutzt, wird auf den Neuen Märkten erfolgreich sein. Dazu bedarf es jedoch einer neuen strategischen Ausrichtung der IuK-Forschung in Deutschland.
