Evolution hält für die Wissenschaftler nach wie vor Überraschungen bereit
Ausgerechnet in den Nasenhöhlen und unter der Zunge von Sittichküken haben Forscher eine neue Art von Flöhen entdeckt. Die Studie entstand in einer Zusammenarbeit von Forschern des Max-Planck-Instituts für Ornithologie (Vogelwarte Radolfzell), des Deutschen Entomologischen Instituts im ZALF in Müncheberg sowie der Universität von Canterbury in Christchurch (Neuseeland) und wurde im Zoological Journal of the Linnean Society veröffentlicht.
