Informationen schnell und sicher suchen - das können Lehrer bei der Fortbildung "Effektive Recherche in Datenbanken und Bibliothekskatalogen" an der Hochschule der Medien (HdM) am 20. Juni 2007 lernen. Von 16 bis 17.30 Uhr erfahren sie, wo und wie sie für die eigene Unterrichtsvorbereitung Informationen finden. Außerdem wird Einblick in aktuelle, für verschiedene Fachgebiete relevante Aufsatzdatenbanken gewährt.
Unterrichtsmaterialien gedruckt und auf einer CD ermöglichen es, die erworbene Informationskompetenz im Schulunterricht weiterzugeben.
Die Veranstaltung wird von drei Studentinnen des Studiengangs Bibliotheks- und Informationswesen organisiert. Sie ist für Lehrer aller Schularten konzipiert. Die Teilnahmegebühr beträgt 25 Euro (inkl. Materialkosten) und kann bei Veranstaltungsbeginn entrichtet werden. Anmeldungen werden bis zum 15. Juni 2007 per E-Mail an tanja.trageser@hdm-stuttgart.de entgegen genommen. Die Teilnehmerzahl ist begrenzt.
