Hochschule Mittweida veranstaltet "Mittweidaer Sommerschule" vom 25. Juni bis zum 27. Juli 2007
Mit ihrer internationalen Ausrichtung im Medienbereich wendet sich die Mittweidaer Sommerschule mit diesem Ausbildungsangebot an Interessenten im In- und Ausland. International bekannte Medienwissenschaftler wie Prof. Klaus Liepelt und Erik Bettermann, Intendant der Deutschen Welle, gestalten das Programm. Erwartet werden u. a. Journalisten aus Ägypten, der Botschafter Ägyptens und zum Abschluss am 27. Juli die Ministerin für Wissenschaft und Kunst im Freistaat Sachsen, Frau Dr. Eva-Maria Stange.
Es werden drei Workshops angeboten.

Inhalt: Die Teilnahme (oder ein Äquivalent) ist die Voraussetzung für Kurs C.

B. Globale Kommunikation
Kurssprache: Englisch
Zeitraum: Montag, 2. Juli bis Freitag, 13. Juli 2007. 70 Lehrstunden.
Inhalt: Das Modul vermittelt einen Überblick über die Trends zur Globalisierung der Medienkultur. Für einige Weltregionen werden darüber hinaus die Strukturen ihrer Mediensysteme, Forschungsergebnisse über die Angebote und ihr Publikum, sowie die dabei eingesetzten empirischen Erhebungsverfahren untersucht.
