"Agrarismus in Ostmitteleuropa 1880 - 1950" ist der Titel einer Tagung an der Europa Universität Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder) vom 11. bis 14. Juli 2007, die im Gräfin-Dönhoff-Gebäude, Raum 102, zum Auftakt eines gleichnamigen Projekts der Deutschen Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) stattfinden wird.
Die Tagung startet am Mittwoch, 11. Juli 2007, um 16 Uhr mit Willkommensworten von Prof. Dr. Helga Schultz (Frankfurt/Oder) und einem Vortrag von Nigel Swain (Liverpool).
Am Donnerstag, 12. Juli 2007, wird die Tagung ab 9 Uhr mit Referenten aus Prag, Budapest, Warschau, Bukarest, Sofia und Tartu fortgesetzt. Am Freitag, 13. Juli, referieren ab 9 Uhr Wissenschaftler aus Budapest, Bratislava und Prag, von 15 - 16 Uhr gibt es Kurzvorträge von Doktoranden aus Jena und London. Die Abschlussdiskussion findet von 16 bis 18 Uhr statt,
Das Projekt wurde von der DFG mit insgesamt 456.800 Euro bewilligt, läuft seit dem 1. Mai 2007 und dauert drei Jahre. Das Projekt ist an der Forschungsstelle für Wirtschafts- und Sozialgeschichte Ostmitteleuropas angesiedelt, die Prof. Dr. Alexander Nützenadel von der Viadrina leitet.
