Am Samstag, 01.09.2007 wurde das Maislabyrinth in der Bundesforschungsanstalt für Landwirtschaft (FAL) in Braunschweig offiziell eröffnet. Am Wochenende erkundeten bereits über 1500 Besucherinnen und Besucher in dem Maislabyrinth die (Irr-)Wege der Forschung. Rund 350 Kinder und Jugendliche zwischen 7 und 16 Jahren haben bereits an dem Wissensrallye- Gewinnspiel teilgenommen. Als Hauptpreis winken VIP-Karten für das ?-Finale der Braunschweig Lions.
Das Maislabyrinth mit der Wissensrallye kann noch bis einschl. Sonntag, 09.09.2007 besucht werden. Öffnungszeiten: Samstag, 08.09.2007 von 10 bis 19:30 Uhr, am Sonntag, 09.09.2007 von 10 - 18 Uhr. An den Wochentagen (Mo - Fr) ist das Labyrinth ausschließlich für vorangemeldete Gruppen geöffnet, Anmeldungen telefonisch unter 0531 596 1017 (Frau Probst).
Das Maislabyrinth ist eine Veranstaltung im Rahmen der Stadt der Wissenschaft 2007.
